My name is Doron Svirsky and I am Tom's father who passed away from cancer. When Tom was hospitalized, it occurred to me that a family without financial support simply collapses into despair. When we were in the hemato-oncology department We saw families under financial distress and we did our best to support them. We also saw the plight of income-providing parents who were diagnosed with cancer and had to stop working. So I decided to create a foundation to commemorate my son Tom and to help families coping with this disease.
